Horse Rescue was asked to visit Camp Carson in Princeton,
Indiana and talk to the 6th and 8th graders about our mission.
Representatives from IHR Southwest brought a power point
presentation to show the kids as well as two very special
horses, Cricket and Magic. Both horse did a great job of
allowing the kids to mob them with loving pats and kisses. All
the kids were very alert and asked many questions about the

| Side Note: Cricket is a permanent resident at IHR Southwest, she is approximatly 30 years old and is frequently used for educational programs like the one held at Camp Carson. Magic was a neglected horse brought to IHR in need of medical care and weight. Since this presentation Magic has gained weight and found a new family of her own! | |
