Your special memorial donation in honor of your friend will help keep other horses alive.  Let your heart be your guide.

Loved & Lost, But Not Forgotten!

Jessica's beloved horse Mack
Mack was close to 29 years old. Jessica's special equine friend and companion through most of her childhood and into her adult life.

PASSING OVER

What is that today, I hear in the wind?
The thunder of hooves, the end of a friend.
She was gentle and noble, and though she knew pain,
In the last of her days, she was treated humane.

Her fear was met, with loving concern.
She had blankets to warm her, all the hugs she could yearn.
Her eyes probed the depth of your very soul.....
But the abuse she had suffered started taking its toll.

Her body grew weaker, but her eyes held the light,
That clearly said "Folks, I am willing to fight."
But the war being waged deep down inside,
Gradually took all her strength, until pain closed her eyes.

And now over the Bridge, the free one does run,
To join her herd mates in THE LAND OF THE SON.
To graze in tall grass, free as a bird.
Released from her pain--Part of HEAVEN'S GREAT HERD.
