Precious was purchased on September 26, 1999 from the kill sale at an auction. A foal had just been pulled from her and her milk was still drying up. She was foundered badly and would frequently lay down. We were told she was broke to drive single and double and also started under saddle.  She was approximately 300 pounds underweight and desperately in need of some good old TLC. You could look in her eyes and know what a sweet gentle soul that she was, but it was her long eye lashes that gave her the name Precious.

How do you say goodbye?
There will never be another like this one, she was indeed Precious.
Rest in Peace little lady, you will always be missed.
