Joey is a very special permanent resident. 
 His job is to guard the horses - and that is exactly what he does.  He keeps stray animals away from the horses, never allows other dogs to chase them - and he does not allow the horses to wander should they get out of the fence.  Joey came to us as a rescue dog, but we never dreamed he would be so special.  

Joey (along with a few others) is available for petting during business hours and he will remind you if you forget (dirty paws and all)!!
