Rusty

7/01/05
Rusty is now a permanent resident.  He will be used for education on equine eyes.  He is safe to handle and use for training on picking hooves and grooming.  He is being worked with by Kelsey, one of our senior volunteers who has earned his trust.  She hopes to be riding him soon!

Tina,  You are everything Rusty was waiting for.  Your love and patience is bringing out the best in this big boy.  Thank you for having the love and time that he needed, he will repay you with love and more than my words can express.

Rusty is such a great horse.  We don't know why he lost his sight but he is a darling.  He would love to have a home with just love and attention.  Do you have the love and patience for him?

Rusty!!  This red is the most beautiful Chestnut I have seen in a long time!  I bet this boy was spectacular in his day.  The picture does not show you that he usually looks up to the sky.  We are not sure if he may have a small amount of sight in the lower part of his eye or not.  He is so beautiful - it makes you wonder what happened.   He is said to be very well broke, we will be working with him as time allows.  Can you help support Rusty until we find him a forever home?  He appears to be very well adjusted to his loss of sight and just requires a confident handler.
