Each of our rescue facilities has horses that

Adoption Information
After you have checked out our horses that are available for adoption, please read our Adoption Policies. Every horse that has come to Indiana Horse Rescue has their own story, some have a been treated very nicely in the past while others have had a very horrible past. Our policies are set to protect the horses, to make sure that they are taken care of for the rest of their days.
Once you have found a horse that you are interested and decided to adopt. Please
make sure to Become a Member, fill out our Adoption/Foster Application and
submit your two Personal References, a
Veterinary Reference, and photos of the
facility where the horse will be housed.
To provide a caring, positive environment for those horses that have either been neglected, abused, abandoned, and/or are at risk of going to slaughter. We will place these horses in an environment that benefits both the horse and the adoptive family.
