We have a new arrival at Indiana Horse Rescue that needs your help! Stardust is a 16 yr old Appaloosa that has been loved all her life and was used for 4H, shown English and Western. No one knows exactly what happened but she cut open her right knee. That was several months ago - she has now ended up at the rescue. We will have the vet out to evaluate her to see what her next job might be. She appears sound until approx the 30 minute mark. We want to give her the best home we can find for her. Donations will be needed for the vet, X-rays and ongoing care.

Thanks to your donations we were able to get the vet out to examine Stardust.  Thanks to her previous care Stardust is only need of some farrier care and time to heal her bruised soles.  We've since had the farrier out too and found that all four hooves were cut at different angles and needed to be corrected.  Stardust is enjoying going out on soft ground and having a bedded stall to walk on to help heal those bruised soles.
