Indiana Horse Rescue is not state funded. We survive on donations from caring individuals and through the help of volunteers. We can not express our thanks enough to those who have helped to fund our mission and to those that have dedicated their time to volunteering to help the horses. All of you have made a difference! Thank you to everyone who was concerned about Phoenix, the colt mentioned in the IndyStar Article! Through your kindness and support we were able to take him in for his surgery. He left IHR Southwest this morning Feb. 4, 2009. The surgery went very good and he is doing great! Click here for updates on Phoenix!
