Visiting The Horses

Visitation for all our rescue facilities is by appointment only! Running a horse rescue keeps us pretty busy. If you would like to schedule a time to come visit the horses please contact the managers of nearest facility to you.

Please also note that only Approved Adopters are allowed to ride the rescue horses. If you are interested in adopting and want to visit a horse, in order to ride the horse (if it is broke to ride) you MUST have an Approved Application on file. Random visitors will not be allowed to ride any of the rescue horses. Also, some of our horses are in foster homes, only Approved Adopters are allowed to visit our rescue horses at their foster homes, please make sure that if you are interested in a horse that is currently out on foster that you have a complete application on file with IHR!
